A canção

Canção em que The Edge acompanha Bono nos vocais durante parte dos versos e refrão, “Always” foi o primeiro esboço de “Beautiful Day” e foi gravada no Hanover Quay Studios.  Tal fato se torna bem evidente com a melodia durante o refrão. Foi lançada em 2002, no EP “7” e também encontrada no single da própria “Beautiful Day” (“Beautiful Day Single”), anteriormente lançado em 2000.

Nunca a tocaram ao vivo, nem mesmo em forma de snippet.

Em “Acrobat” Bono canta “And you can dream, so dream out loud”; em “Zooropa”, “She's gonna dream up the world she wants to live in, she's gonna dream out loud”. Reaproveitando da ideia e do contexto, em “Always” aparecem os seguintes versos: “Well if you dream then dream out loud, always”.
